I’m Dr. Ivy Brooker, a licensed Clinical and Counselling Psychologist and trained IFS practitioner, committed to helping individuals achieve emotional well-being and healing through the use of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your inner world, resolve internal conflicts, and foster self-compassion.

Originally from the Prairies, I completed my BA in Psychology at the University of Manitoba and then moved to Montreal, QC to complete my Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Concordia University. Following, I completed my residency in London, ON, specializing in Clinical and Counselling Psychology.

My clinical training throughout this time took place in outpatient services, university student counselling centres, and specialized clinic settings. After years of learning and practicing treatment approaches that were always considered the “gold-standard” for treatment, I discovered the profound impact that IFS has had on both my personal life and the lives of my clients. IFS is a therapy that honours and respects the complexity of each individual and seeks to help people reconnect with their true selves.

In IFS therapy, I help clients identify and heal various parts of themselves—whether it’s their inner critic, wounded child, or fierce protectors. Through gentle, compassionate dialogue, I guide you to develop a deeper understanding and acceptance of these parts, leading to more emotional balance and healing.

I have been trained by the IFS Institute, and have worked with individuals dealing with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. I am committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where clients can heal at their own pace.

If you’re ready to explore your inner world and begin healing, schedule a session today.
